Ms. Patty

Ms. Patty is excited to be the Lead Teacher in the Brown Bears. She has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lima. She is a people-oriented person who has worked in the Human Resources field for many years. She started working with Community Kids as a substitute teacher from 2014 – 2016. She enjoys working with the children and helping them to get ready for Kindergarten. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Ms. Patty resides in Ashburn with her husband and two daughters. Both her daughters are alumni from Community Kids. Ms. Patty is originally from Peru and moved to the United States in 2005. She also likes to run and go to the beach with her family.

She is certified in CPR/First Aid, E-MAT, and Child Abuse and Neglect. Ms. Patty has certificates from Early Childhood professional training courses and continues to take Child Development-related courses. Her annual requirement as a Teacher is 18 hours of Continue Ed Hours in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Patty is required to have a Physical (every year) and TB test (every two years) completed before the first day of Preschool each new year. She has a Central Registry Release of Information Form done by Department of Social Services as well as a Background Fingerprints are done every five years.
