Ms. Amy

Ms. Amy is excited to be working with the Leap Frogs class as the Assistant Teacher. She and her family are no strangers to the school. Each of her three boys attended the 3’s and 4’s classes. She is very thrilled to be a part of the teaching team. Ms. Amy graduated from Pittsburgh Technical College with a degree in Specialized Business, concentration in Travel and Tourism Administration. For the past eleven years, she has been a stay at home mom to her three active boys. She truly enjoys working with children! In her free time, she is very active at her gym. She also enjoys reading, traveling with her family and is always keeping busy with her boys wrestling and baseball activities.

She is certified in CPR/First Aid. E-MAT and Child Abuse and Neglect. Ms. Amy has certificates from Early Childhood professional training courses and continues to take Child Development-related courses. Her annual requirement as a Teacher is 16 hours of Continue Ed Hours in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Amy is required to have a Physical (every year) and TB test (every two years) completed before the first day of Preschool each new year. She has a Central Registry Release of Information Form done by Department of Social Services as well as a Background Fingerprints are done every five years.
